I grew up staring at a picture of my great grandmother smoking a hookah. The fact that she is smoking a hookah dramatically increases her "street cred." Next to her was a picture of my maternal great grand parents. Next to that, my grandparents. Then, a picture of my parents. All of these pictures, both then and now, remind me that it took a lot of living to get me on the planet.
The same is true for you.
The stories and lives of your ancestors should lead you to a grand question:
Since it took so much to get you here, how do you want to spend the one life you have?
Accidental living rarely gets me where I want to be.
Intention matters.
Practice matters.
I speak to and work with leaders across the country to help them (and their organizations) ask questions that can open up possibilities, opportunities and adventure and create the life-work they're longing to experience. There are four questions that occupy most of my work and thinking. These four questions are connected to four life-practices. The practices make it possible to live the questions and create the destiny you desire.
Question: What should I do now? Practice: Pay Attention
Question: Why should I do this? Practice: Be Curious
Question: How should I do this? Practice: Risk Forward
Question: Who should do this with me? Practice: Stay Connected
My passion is to live my questions and help others do the same. In doing so, I want to see you explore your way into the destiny you crave.
